Paul was one of five children who grew up in Derbyshire, studied in Bristol and worked in London before moving to Yorkshire to settle down and raise a family. He liked travelling abroad, cycling, walking and was a keen bird watcher. He also enjoyed being outdoors in nature and with animals. He loved all types of music and went to many concerts and festivals. He enjoyed cooking and was practical in the kitchen.

Paul was a very caring and loving son, brother, husband and father and well liked by everyone who met him. Paul had a great sense of fun and humour. He will dearly missed by his family and friends.
